I will suggest you to not let your 12 year old use tiktok. Tiktok is very additive and kt can even cause health problems in kids. These days mothers are giving mobile phones to kids for their own benefit but they must be careful about what apps kid is watching on mobile. Social medi apps should be blocked, there are some apps which allow this.

Mother's also have house work and own life. That is why they give mobile phone to kids. I agree that it should not be done for long time though.
