One of my website got affected by August 2023 Google update. I removed all the AI posts and replaced it with original content. I was not able to regain the rankings even after this. What steps have you taken to recover from August 2023 Google update ?

I am still figuring out working methods to recover from August 2023 Google update . I think I will have to improve the quality of links pointing to my website but currently do not have budget for this. When my other online projects become profitable, I will invest that money to improve my website affected by the update.

I have taken following steps:
1) I have added images in all posts. Earlier , there were some posts without images. I bought these from stock photos site.
2) I also hired an experienced writer to edit the articles on my site. There were some grammar errors there which I am getting rectified.
3) I am creating more high quality links for my site. Since I plan to start more money sites, I have also started to set up my own PBN now.
