You can report it to exchanges. They might be able to trace the funds. But it is very hard to get back the funds.

If some site is offering mining, this does not mean that it is real. Most of such websites are scam. Stay away from such websites. You have to buy mining equipment to be able to mine bitcoin.

Now mining involves lot of initial investment. Then there are monthly expenses like electricity costs. So you will take years to recover this cost itself.

You can report this to police authorities but the chances of getting the funds back is very less. This is because these cannot be traced easily.
